Taken off the coast of Vancouver Island, Canada.
I'm not so much for black and white as you can see from my gallery, but there is an exception to every rule, and this just looked great in black and white, mostly because there was very little color in the photo to begin with. The clouds blocked out the sun enough that you could stare directly at it and see just the massive - though dull - ball of light. Dreamlike, really… It seemed so big.
It never happened again, strangely enough. At the same time of day for the next few days it was still overcast, but I couldn't find the sun after that.

This is probably my new favorite from you. It would have been way cooler if it was night (which is what I thought it was when I looked at it; the description burst my bubble). So you should tell people it was at night cuz that's how it looks and it's cooler that way.) Anyway it's still my favorite because it LOOKS like night =P

Well the cool thing is it dind't look like night, day or anything in between. It was like all times of day at once, or maybe none at all.

No. I said it didn't look like it was in between night and day. I mean it was like both or neither. Read the description in HG Well's "Time Machine" when he's going into the future and night and day blend together. It works pretty well.
